SUMMARY
Colony boring into mollusc shells, comprising a branching, kenozooidal stolon, which buds cylindrical, pedunculate autozooids orientated obliquely to surface of substratum. Opening of autozooid boring typically elongate, comma-shaped. Peduncle of autozooid at or close to its proximal end. Specialised gonozooids present or absent.
