Ellisina gautieri

General description: 

Ellisina gautieri is an encrusting bryozoan, found on offshore shells beds. It is the only species of its genus presently known from British waters. Autozooids are oval and commonly 0.3 -0.35 by 0.25

The distribution of the species is unknown, but it has been described from the western Mediterranean and recorded from Marseilles, NW Spain and the western English Channel.
