SUMMARY
Bryozoans in this family form encrusting colonies. Frontal wall gymnocystal, thin, imperforate. Primary orifice D-shaped, without spines. Avicularia vicarious. Pore-chambers tubular. Ovicell imperforate, hyperstomial, closed by the zooidal operculum.
