SUMMARY
Colony encrusting; or erect, branching or reticulate. Autozooid frontal shield with few, small marginal pores. Primary orifice with toothed or breaded distal rim; condyles present; proximal border straight, concave or distinctly sinuate. Oral spines present. Avicularia adventitious and/or vicarious; polymorphic. Ovicell prominent, hyperstomial, not closed by autozooid operculum.
