Paludicellidae
Bryozoans in this family form branching, uniserial lines of autozooids; encrusting. Autozooids slender, clavate, with a narrow, tubular proximal portion and a short erect peristome. Funiculus not continuous between zooids. Lophophore lacking a collar. Oviparous, development to gatrula stage taking place while the egg is attached to the outer cuticle of the zooid. Specialised resting buds (hibernacula) characteristic.
