Arachnidiidae
Bryozoans in this family form encrusting colonies; autozooids repent, budded in ramifying, linear series, forming an open network over the surface of the substratum. Autozooids usually finely tapered proximally; cross-connections may form between zooids through the linking of buds, and appear superficially to represent stolons. Kenozooids absent. Orifice distally situation, often papillate.
