Mimosellidae
Bryozoans in this family form erect, bushy; or creeping colonies. Autozooids in clumps or paired series, budding from a kenozooidal stolon, caducous; more or less bilaterally symmetrical, slightly tapered proximally. Lophophore with eight tentacles, campylonemidan; no gizzard. Asymmetric erector muscles impart mobility to autozooids. Embryos brooded in tentacle sheath.
